City Government

The City of Watford City is governed as a Mayor/Council form of government. In the Mayor/Council form of government, the City Council, as the elected body, adopts ordinances, sets policy, adjudicates issues, and establishes the budget of the City. The Mayor appoints the City Administrator and the City Auditor.
